Born in Reading in 1958 where I still live, I grew up wanting to be a professional footballer but after discovering girls, booze, Cigarettes and Ford Capris I soon changed my mind.
Having worked at AWRE for a few years I discovered a guy selling a complete mobile disco in a trailer and because the Capri Ghia had a tow bar I thought I would give it a go. After a couple of years doing mobiles, a friend of a friend who was manager at Rebeccas Nightclub in Reading had just sacked one of their Djs. I was resident there for a while then went onto other clubs namely The Majestic, Cavershams and New Valbonnes in Reading and Oscars in London . I eventually ending up in Corfu at the Adonis Club in Gouvia. I retired from Dj’ing in the naughties to run my own Stretched Limousine Company, which was great fun and a great earner, but decided to return to Dj’ing after doing a few weddings for friends and so on – I got the bug again.
Now divorced with two children, Mitch who is 18 and a great drummer and Georgia 15 who is a great spender. I am working for a Wine Company but as you can guess still love my music.
Although Jazz Funk and Disco is my favourite music, I am sure some people still remember me playing Agadoo and the Timewarp but hey ho we all have a past. Anyway, I stayed friends with Jim Day, Pete Sinclair and others all the way through from those early days till now, and along with other people, weve now got this station up and running, playing our favourite tunes.
